What's the difference between the Free, Basic, Pro, and Enterprise plans?
Updated August 11, 2026
TubeAI runs on four tiers: Free, Basic, Pro, and Enterprise. Every plan — including Free — has access to the core creation tools (scripts, thumbnails, titles, viral ideas, boards, the engagement report, and database search). Higher tiers add more monthly credits and unlock the power-user layer on top.
What each tier adds
- Free — the default for any unsubscribed account. Core tools with a starter credit allowance, one handle-connected channel, and full database browsing.
- Basic — a monthly credit allowance, credit top-ups, and the ability to add new channels to the research database.
- Pro — everything in Basic, plus the official YouTube Analytics connection (retention curves, demographics, traffic sources), multiple connected channels, longer scripts, Thumbnail Pro Mode, channel momentum and performance charts, and Hugo's research agents, file uploads, and persistent memory.
- Enterprise — everything in Pro, plus team collaboration with roles, Deep Research (Swarm) scripts, Hugo voice messages and multi-step and scheduled workflows, the most advanced AI model in chat, and dedicated support.

Free trial
New subscribers may be offered a 7-day free trial with trial credits on Basic or Pro, once per customer. A payment method is required up front but not charged during the trial; it converts to a paid subscription when the 7 days end unless canceled first.
Changing plans
- Upgrading is instant — you pay only the prorated difference and the extra monthly credits land immediately.
- Downgrading or switching between monthly and yearly billing takes effect at your next renewal. Nothing is charged today, and you keep your current plan until the paid period ends.
- Canceling doesn't cut you off — access and credits continue until the end of the period you paid for, and resuming is one click before then.
Managing your subscription
Everything is self-service under Settings, then Plans: compare tiers, start or change a subscription, toggle monthly/yearly billing, and open the secure billing portal for invoices and payment methods. If a payment fails, access is restored automatically once your payment method is updated and the charge succeeds.
Frequently Asked Questions
What happens to my credits if I upgrade mid-month?
Upgrades are instant: you're charged only the prorated price difference and the additional monthly credits are added to your balance immediately.
If I cancel, do I lose access right away?
No. You keep your plan's access and credits until the end of the billing period you already paid for, and you can resume with one click before it lapses.
Is there a free trial?
Yes — a 7-day free trial is offered on Basic and Pro, once per customer. Your card is required but not charged during the trial, and it converts automatically unless you cancel first.
Can my team share one account?
Yes, on Enterprise. The owner can invite teammates with Full Access or Read-Only roles — everyone shares one account and one credit pool without sharing a login.
