Slow Living | Stone Cabin | Life in the Cottian Alps We are realizing our dream of a house in Italy! We are two retired professionals, Gin was an architect and Linda had a career in academics, who developed a love for Italy from our university days in Rome and Florence many decades ago. The dream begins with a restoration project that aspires to breathe new life into a centuries old stone cabin, or "baita" - to bring a new vitality to this spot of land on the lower slopes of the Cottian Alps while respecting the heritage and traditions of this valley. In the same way we hope to give the restoration project the love and attention that it deserves, we hope to curate a visual artifact of the restoration and subsequent life at the cabin that is equally beautiful and enduring on this channel. With gratitude, Linda & Gin
