We’re “Texpats” Beth & Patrick, and we’re renovating a very old maison bourgeoise in the old quarter of Amboise, France. She’s a city house with fabulous historic details to rival any chateau! We’re tackling DIY, French brocante hauls, decorating, gardening & all kinds of creative projects at our townhouse in the Loire Valley. We're still investigating exactly how old she is, but parts are from the 19th century, some from the 18th century, and there’s evidence of medieval origins. We believe the house is about 500 years old! Come along as we transition from living in Austin, Texas, USA to a new life in France. Our future plans include holding visual art workshops & other creative events on a small scale. If you love all things fabulously French, old houses, history, architecture, antiques, home makeovers, travel & living in Europe, you're among your people here! Thanks for watching!
