My name is Bart Coppens, and I am obsessed with insects and nature and in particular with butterflies and moths. I film these creatures in the wild, but I also document their life cycles in captivity; breeding them is my strange passion and interest! Keeping such animals in captivity is far from selfish in a world where the life cycles of many species are poorly studied or even unknown. Did you know this channel has contributed to conservation and science by documenting brand new life cycles of moths/butterflies that have never been documented before? If you want to conserve a species, you have to know what it eats and how it develops! I invite you to share my obsession for these wonderful animals, and the world of nature and entomology. Welcome to one of the largest dedicated YouTube channels on the internet that makes content about Lepidoptera! Together we can make a difference and give these underrated animals the attention they deserve. Ignorance is an existential threat!
