I'm Cathy, historical dressmaker, filmmaker, writer, and lifelong maker of things. For many years I taught historical sewing and ran a creative business. These days I'm more interested in what creativity is for, how we change over time, and how to build a life that fits who we're becoming. On this channel you'll find historical sewing, slow craft, long-term projects, creative process, and reflections on the inner life of making things. If you're creating something slowly, rebuilding after change, or searching for a quieter and more authentic way of living, you’ll like it here.
