I launched this channel ,for people to share in my good fortune of living in this beautiful area Wales,UK,and to promote the local tourist industry. I am privileged to have acquired the intimate local knowledge of the sustainable hot spots for coastal foraging(Carmarthenshire and Pembrokeshire). I have had a life long interest in foraging (I believe it may be genetic as my father /grandfather/uncle and brothers all seem to have this "urge"). My knowledge of the coastal ecosystems/habitats has been gained by my life long study of my compulsive hobby. Following careers in the Royal Air Force,Banking and more recently Forestry I am now launching a new business "Coastal Foraging" whereby I will offer courses to individuals and groups of up to 12 ,to accompany me ,and experience days out that will be very similar to that shown on the channel. My website is "Coastalforaging.co.uk".
