About

Work with me 1:1 👇 You've always dreamed of growing your own food. Real life keeps getting in the way. I help people who want to grow their own food but feel limited by time, space, or not knowing where to start build an intentional garden that actually fits their life. I'm Cortney, an organic gardener in Upstate South Carolina. I've grown food for 20+ years, but a few years ago I almost quit. From the outside, my garden looked picture perfect: 28 raised beds on 3.5 acres. Behind the scenes, I was trying to keep up with homesteads I saw online, overwhelmed by a garden that was too much to manage, and hardly growing food my family actually ate. I nearly walked away from something I'd loved my whole life. When my life changed abruptly and I moved to a smaller home, I rebuilt around the time, space, and energy I had. Now I grow more of the food my family eats in a flexible 1,000-square-foot garden. That's what I teach here: how to grow food in a way that actually fits your life.
