We bought a 1904 farmhouse in the English countryside. Now we’re trying to bring it back to life. Country & Co. follows the whole story: restoring the house, tackling projects ourselves, working with brilliant trades and learning an unreasonable amount about old buildings along the way. But it’s about more than the renovation. It’s the house, the land, the tools, the projects, family life and everything that comes with building a home and a life in the countryside. This house was loved by one family for generations. We feel incredibly lucky to be writing its next chapter, keeping what makes it special while making it work for our family. We’re learning as we go, getting plenty wrong along the way, and taking you with us for all of it. Follow along as we bring the farmhouse back to life, one project at a time.
