Creative Deep Dents is about providing creative inspiration and insights from the icons of art & design. Hi, I’m Matt — an advertising art and creative director, artist, and former history of art student. I’m revisiting the art, design, and creative inspirations that shaped me and sharing them here. Along the way, I ask a simple question: how did these artists and creatives make such a deep impact on the world, and what can we learn from them? By sharing what I know, and what I’m still learning, I hope you’ll find genuine value here. In my podcast playlist How to Create an ICON, I explore iconic art, design, and the people behind them, digging beneath the surface to uncover how and why they were made — and what it takes to leave a lasting dent in the creative universe. In Creative Dent Making, I share insights from 25 years as a London art and creative director, alongside lessons from my newly rekindled artist career. Thanks for your support, Matt
