I'm a trained historian interested in the Cultural History of Bronze Age, Iron Age and Early Medieval Europe. Though most of my formal training is in history I've also received training in archaeological methodology and value the insights of historical linguistics and paleogenetics to refine our picture of the past. I'm currently working on my dissertation on the critical incorporation of paleogenetic data into traditional historical research. If you want to support my research you can do so on Patreon, where you'll get access to over 400 pages worth of academic literature written by myself, as well early and ad-free access to all videos on this channel and its scripts, as well as many of the maps used in my video. All support is greatly appreciated and will help directly fund my Phd.
Ask Hugo why a video took off, which ideas would work for your channel, and what to title it — backed by YouTube Explorer data on European Origins and the channels around it.
