I’ve been chasing gold since I was 11 years old and today I'm lucky enough to mine full time. This channel is where I show what that actually looks like. Here you'll find gold prospecting, metal detecting, gold panning, hard-rock gold mining, following quartz veins, opening gold pockets, crushing and processing gold ore, testing recovery equipment and preparing rare natural gold and crystallized gold specimens. Sometimes it starts with the faintest detector signal. Sometimes it’s a gold nugget, crystallized gold or a tiny quartz vein that turns into the biggest pocket I’ve ever found. And sometimes we dig all day and find nothing. That’s gold prospecting. I’ve spent decades learning what gold looks like in the ground, where it hides and what happens after you find it. I’ve also appeared on National Geographic’s Meltdown demonstrating real-world precious-metal recovery. If you’re obsessed with finding gold, subscribe and come chase gold with me!
