Lucy is an artist and self-described art adventurer whose creative journey began in early childhood, inspired by her parents, both oil painters. Surrounded by color, brushes, and canvases from a young age, she developed a deep curiosity about the world and a love of exploring it through art. Drawing inspiration from her surroundings, Lucy resists being confined to a single medium. She experiments freely, discovering how different materials, techniques, and processes can bring new energy and perspective to her work. Having studied with artists she admires both locally and overseas, she values strong technique and a solid foundation while embracing the freedom to explore and create in her own way. When she travels, she brings her art supplies with her, capturing impressions and memories of the places she visits. At the heart of her practice is a simple philosophy: art should be fun, and the joy of creating should always come first. I would love you to join me.
