Let's read together! This page is a spinoff of my TikTok account, @ohmellyeah, where I've been reading and reviewing Howard Zinn's A People's History of the United States. I started reading this book online to prove a timely point: the American people are a much more benevolent, humane force than the American government, and we should not conflate the two. There's hope because we, as a people, make it so. Any videos from Zinn's book will be directly from TikTok. However, as this channel grows, I'll create more long-form, YouTube-centric content. Consider this your own virtual book club. What should I read next?
