Miriam Lancewood survived for 7 years with her husband Peter in the wilderness of New Zealand. Without technology (not even a clock), they roamed the high mountains like nomads, slept in a tent, cooked on a fire, and Miriam learned how to hunt with bow and arrow. Their experiences and observations are unique in this modern, technological world. In 2017 Miriam wrote the International bestseller "Woman in the wilderness", translated into 6 languages. In 2020 the sequel "Wild at heart" came out. This story is about the walk through Europe and Turkey, and eventually Australia. Miriam's 3rd publication was "Wilder Journeys" in 2023. Together with Laurie King, Miriam edited a compilation of stories about nature connection, written by famous adventurers. In 2026, "Alone in the World" came out. It's her personal story about the right mindset for unexpected situations. Contact & info: miriamlancewood.com
