About

Welcome to Mispronounced Adventures. This channel combines overland travel, self-built campervans, and technical van build projects from Five Arctic winter expeditions to electrical systems, diesel heaters, solar, and off-grid living. Over the last few years I’ve travelled across the Nordic Arctic in self-built vans, documenting extreme winter vanlife, remote travel, and the reality of building and living in challenging conditions. I currently travel in a self-built 4x4 MAN TGE campervan, doing almost everything myself: electrics, carpentry, heating, solar, water systems, and more. Alongside YouTube, I also work professionally as an expedition leader, leading groups and carrying out reconnaissance trips around the world. Why “Mispronounced Adventures”? Because I’m dyslexic, and usually spend half the trip pronouncing places incorrectly… only learning the right way once I arrive there.
