We manage a 75 km² conservation area in Botswana. Our focus: wildlife protection, long-term coexistence with predators, and off-grid sustainability — from rainwater harvesting to habitat restoration. Modisa is home to Sirga the lioness — rescued as a cub, raised by hand, and now living on protected land in the Kalahari Desert. Her story continues here, alongside the work of monitoring wild lions nearby, and building a life that respects the land we live on. This channel shares what that looks like day to day. The setbacks, the progress, and the reality of living with predators in one of Africas remotest corners.
