The space craft Carrington is my project to build a physical model of a fictional ship that will engage the Jupiter Mission. The ship in the fictional universe is set in 2060 when the ship is launched. It will have 300 crew and represent humanity's most dramatic venture yet into the depths of interplanetary space. I am truly excited about this project as it will not only involve the physical model exterior built in 1:25 scale, but the interior too. Major design elements will need to be considered and careful planning of what a human crew would need to not just survive such a mission, but the thrive within it with clarity and well-being.
