Mountain Man Dave exists to preserve and pass on the skills, history, and spirit of the American mountain man and traditional muzzleloading community; one story, one lesson and one campfire at a time. I've been following the ways of the mountain men of the Rocky Mountain Fur trade era, shooting muzzleloaders, black powder pistols and attending rendezvous since I first saw the movie "Jeremiah Johnson" over 50 years ago. My goal is to pass some of that knowledge along and help keep this valuable Living Tradition alive. This channel promotes SAFE Black powder shooting, traditional muzzleloading, mountain man rendezvous, fur trappers of 1820-1840’s, buck skinners and buck skinning, vintage firearms, traditional Muzzleloader hunting and shooting. Keep yer powder dry, mind yer top knot and remember, Black Powder Matters! T-SHIRTS and Coffee Mugs and Drink Tumblers available @ https://mountainmandave.etsy.com
