My childhood played a role in shaping me into the artist I am today. In kindergarten, I would colour on my desk and get in trouble, but it didn't stop me. It was a natural inclination that grew stronger with time. My passion is drawing animals and landscapes. My greatest inspiration was and still is Leonardo Da Vinci. I started out as a realistic artist and then veered into abstract art, which was liberating, yet my roots in realism leaves me longing for structure. Blending abstract art and realism today is very satisfying. "Painting is Poetry that is seen rather than felt, and Poetry is painting that is felt rather than seen" Leonardo da Vinci My Tutorial videos are meant to inspire you. I do Watercolour, Alcohol Ink, Pastel, Acrylic and I will be doing Water Based Oil in the near future. Susan
