About

Improve your everyday life with Psychology Presenting Psychology takes psychological research out of the textbook and turns it into practical, evidence-based ideas you can actually use. I make videos about topics including confidence, motivation, personality, emotions, learning, behaviour, relationships and life online — separating useful psychology from the myths, oversimplifications and bad advice that often surround it. I’ve been teaching psychology for over 15 years. In 2021, I received the Higher Education Psychology Teacher of the Year Award from the British Psychological Society and Oxford University Press. I’m also the author of The Psychology of Effective Studying: How to Succeed in Your Degree. The second edition was published by Routledge in 2025 and is available from Amazon and other major booksellers. If you enjoy evidence-based psychology explained clearly and practically, subscribe and turn on notifications to catch new videos. All the best, Paul
