About

Professor Wes Porter created this YouTube channel to do his small part to train his future colleagues in the legal profession and assist law students and mock trial participants with trial skills. Professor Porter has taught basic concepts of Evidence and trial skills for more than 15 years . . . including sharing his teaching ON YOUTUBE for that long!!! Prof. Porter was a tenured professor of law and led a center devoted to litigation and trial training at the law school. He also taught Evidence, Criminal Law & Procedure, and trial courses as a full-time professor. Prof. Porter has continued to teach courses in Evidence and trial skills courses part-time at several law schools while serving as a federal trial judge. Prior to teaching, he served as a trial attorney with the US DOJ, Criminal Division, US Attorney's Office, and US Navy JAG Corps. (c) Copyright Wes R. Porter 2026. All rights reserved.
