Hello everyone and welcome to Roads And Rails Hobbies. I have always been interested in different forms of art. I have a background in graphic art design and photography. During my degree pursuits I was introduced to 3D modeling. This opened a whole new avenue for me to explore artistically. I continued learning about 3D modeling and purchased my first 3D printer. At about the same time my love of model railroading resurfaced and I thought what better way to bring all of my interest in the different art forms than to build my own model railroad layout. So that brings me to the reason for creating this channel. Model railroading can be an expensive hobby, and I wanted to create my own layout without breaking the bank. I want to share this journey with all of you. Hopefully what I learn will help you in creating your own layout.
