Welcome, My name is Ryde (like ride a bike) and I'll be your coffee coach.. I'm also the Chief Espresso Officer of Grounds Of Origin, a roastery and cafe in Brisbane, Australia. I am super passionate about educating consumers on all aspects of coffee: Where the coffee comes from, who the farmers are, what unique flavours each region offers, home barista tips and tricks and, of course, drinking coffee! Grounds Of Origin sells coffee beans and ships them all around Australia and even internationally on request. My passion for coffee research and education stems from my teenage days when I hated coffee. Yes, I actually hated coffee, it was disgusting! But I soon learned that coffee is not just a bitter drink used for energy, it can be complex and rich and sweet and a mindfulness ritual. I love my coffee and want to share all my knowledge with other people who love coffee as much as I do.
