Hi! I'm Selene, and I'm building a life I love. 🖤 It started with power tools and DIY. Now it's about something bigger: financial freedom, location freedom, and time freedom. My partner and I quit our careers to go all in on working for ourselves. We sold our house in Florida and most of what we own. Next stop is Japan, where we're buying and renovating an akiya, one of the roughly nine million abandoned houses sitting empty. I'm a self-taught DIYer who learned as I went, one power tool and one project at a time. Now I'm using those skills to fund a life on our own terms, and I'm showing you exactly how. What the house sold for. What an akiya actually costs. What we already got wrong in the budget. Sharing everything, mistakes and all. If you've ever wanted to walk away from the default path and build something that's yours, you're in the right place. No gatekeeping here. New video every 2 weeks. Subscribe so you don't miss it! 📩 https://selenebuildsthings.myflodesk.com/subscrib
