Hello everyone, I started this channel to share my time in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. I moved here in March of 2024 to take care of my elderly parents, but also to get away from the ''Big City'' and try my hands at living ''Off Grid''. I quit my job in the Chicago area, sold my house, and plan on building a cabin here in the woods of the UP. I have started by tearing down and building a new greenhouse, growing a vegetable garden has been my hobby for years, but it is also very important to me to be food self-sufficient. After this project I will start building my dream house, an A-frame in the woods.
