The people I’ve admired most in my life are, among other things, useful. It is a worthy calling to increase your own usefulness. The relentless pursuit of skill is worth our time and effort, in part because it honors our Creator, who carefully made us for higher purposes than to eat industrial quantities of Cheetos and play Call of Duty all day (some Cheetos and video games now and then are fine, but we probably shouldn’t devote our lives to their consumption). At various points in my life I’ve made my living with music, graphic design, photography, woodworking, being a soldier, and most recently, welding. My professional life began with music, so that is how I’ll begin this channel. Our little trio is called The Dust Mites (yes, we take ourselves extremely seriously), and consists of me, my daughter Katie, and our good friend Tyler. I hope the content on this channel will be useful to you. —Jason
