Welcome to The DIY Grunt, I’m Nikko! I was introduced to DIY as a kid, helping my parents remodel our entire house. Growing up as a military brat, this process happened several times. I love the feeling of pride and accomplishment in creating and fixing things without having to hire a professional. In 2014, I joined the military and served as an Infantryman (affectionately known as a Grunt). After several deployments, I decided it was time to move on and focus on my passion for DIY home and car projects. I am also a fan of classic Porsches and currently own three of them.
