👋 Hi friend! I’m Christie Hawkins, founder of The Social Easel, an online painting community where I help women discover the creativity inside themselves through acrylic painting. If you’ve ever thought, “I’m not creative,” or “I wish I could paint, but I don’t know where to start,” you’re in the right place. My step-by-step tutorials are designed to make painting simple, relaxing, and fun. Since 2013, I’ve had the privilege of teaching thousands of students, and I’ve learned that the biggest obstacle isn’t talent—it’s fear. So many women begin believing they aren’t artistic, only to discover they’re capable of creating so much more than they imagined. I don’t want you to paint like me. I want you to discover your own creative voice. Whether you’re painting for relaxation, personal growth, or simply to make time for yourself, I’m so glad you’re here. Grab your paintbrush, give yourself permission to play, and let’s create something beautiful together. 💜
