The Tapes Archive is a home for long-form documentaries about the music, albums and artists that shaped hard rock and heavy metal. The channel features deep dives into landmark albums, including Black Sabbath's Sabotage, Master of Reality, Vol. 4 and Sabbath Bloody Sabbath; the five-part series on Van Halen's 1984; and artist portraits such as The Evolving Mind of Neil Peart. It also includes occasional retrospectives on classic films, including The King of Comedy and Point Blank. The Tapes Archive is also home to a collection of rare, never-before-heard interviews with Ozzy Osbourne, David Lee Roth, Sammy Hagar and other icons, recorded during the 1980s and '90s. Created by Emmy Award-winning documentarian Alan Berry, these films are independent passion projects produced in his spare time.
