Welcome to The Tudor Yank, where British history meets American curiosity. I’m Misti. I am a Kentucky born, Hollywood film veteran who swapped red carpets for English cobblestones. If you’re an American living in the UK or just obsessed with British history, you’re in the right place. After 15 years in the film industry, I’m using my storyteller's lens to explore the "Beautiful New Old World." From the hidden secrets of York Minster to the culture shocks that make no sense to Americans, I navigate life across the pond so you can see Britain like never before. What I explore Deep dives into Tudor history and medieval landmarks. American reacts to British culture, food, and traditions. The reality of being an American expat in England.
