We bought a €23,000 Italian lake house and are documenting our DIY renovation, done slowly on a teacher’s budget. This channel follows the hands-on process of restoring an old home in Italy, from budget-friendly renovation projects and salvaging materials to learning new skills and tackling problems as they come, one phase at a time. Alongside the renovation, we also share what everyday life in Italy actually looks like as an American and British couple building a life here. This includes navigating Italian bureaucracy, settling into a local community, and the small moments that make living in Italy so special. If you’re into old home restoration, DIY projects, and daily life in Italy as it happens, you're in the right place!
