This channel primarily explores texts written in the Ancient Greek language (both Pre-Christian & Christian) but will also explore ancient cosmology more broadly. Occasional treatments of texts written in Latin, Sanskrit, Ancient Hebrew, Aramaic and Old English are also on the horizon. Some commentary on Australian Indigenous cosmology and ritual as well as anthropology more generally is also on the cards. My goal is to provide direct access to primary source materials that are often underappreciated/neglected/misunderstood and to reconstruct as clear a picture as possible about what ancient people believed and experienced. I have a PhD in Classics (Ancient Greek philology/philosophy).
