Hello! I’m Timmy Gibson. For 30 years, I was a fundamental, evangelical, tongue-talking, holy-ghost-rollin minister, preaching that belief in Jesus was the only escape from eternal damnation, aka Hell. Armed with training from Central Bible College and Rhema Bible Colleges, I spent decades in the trenches: Pastoring a Houston megachurch Youth Group of 500 Students, traveling for many years as a Healing Evangelist, and pastoring my own church of 300 members for nearly 18 years. Ironically, it was my sincere pursuit of truth that led me to ask the hard questions, which eventually led me to deconstruct the faith I built my life upon. I realized Christianity is a man-made story, and today, I am an atheist. I’m here to pull back the curtain on the wild beliefs I once championed, while celebrating the genuine freedom and joy I've found since walking away. If you are navigating your own path of deconstruction, you aren't alone. Grab a cup of coffee, and let’s chat.
