About

Thanks for checking out the UWPICVID channel. I am Joe Kistel, an underwater photographer and cinematographer. I am also involved in marine conservation projects which sometimes involves sinking ships. Most of my experience has been capturing imagery in less than ideal visibility conditions. Over the years I have learned that with the proper tools and techniques fantastic underwater imagery is possible even in low visibility and low light conditions. My goal through these videos is to share insights and techniques I have learned along the way, and continue to learn today, in hopes to help and inspire others. With the advances in camera technology over the recent years, creating professional level underwater imagery is now possible on just about any budget level. It is a perfect time to get into creating underwater visuals. So go get a camera, get underwater, and capture priceless moments! Please subscribe as I hope I can help you along in your underwater imagery journey.
