We are Shayne, Anna, Ayden, Harry & Olly living and working aboard Paikea, a Catana 42. We are modifying her using salvaged Grand Prix carbon from some of the most advanced sailing campaigns. Her rotating wing mast from Team NZ's 2000 America's Cup campaign. Her front beam and longeron are fabricated from salvaged AC mast sections. Her bulkheads incorporate structural components from Alinghi 5. Even the steering wheels are modified AC trim-tab wheels. Between us we bring over 50 years of professional experience in composite engineering, foil design, rigging, sailmaking, offshore racing, the Volvo Ocean Race, America's Cup, Grand Prix yachts, and large performance multihulls.
