Moving from 🇸🇪 to 🇯🇵 We’re Sia and Mikael, a Swedish couple living in rural Japan - soon joined by our dog Benji. After leaving our old life behind, we bought an akiya and are turning it into our home in the Japanese countryside. On this channel, we share our everyday life in Japan, from renovating an old house and taking on DIY projects to exploring local food, culture, and the hidden corners of the countryside. We’re documenting the ups, the downs, and everything we learn along the way as we build a new life in Japan.
